When Garrett Hedlund is in a fashion show....

Things get funny.

First off, if you don't know who Garrett Hedlund is then I am ordering you right now to go out and watch my three favorite films of his: Four Brothers (Cracker Jack!), Death Sentence (Billllyyyy), and Country Strong (Oh, Beau).

I am not a fashion type person which is kinda why you never see me "Daily Outfit" posts here because I doubt you all care that I am in an assorted amount of t-shirts, torn jeans, hoodie, and semi-smelly sneakers most of my life. And I just don't *get* the fashion world. Most of the models in shows scare me with the hair, crazy makeup, and how tiny a lot of them are. I don't want to see your bones, honey.

But I do break many things I'm not for when it comes to Garrett. When the lovely Laura that heads Garrett Minds said he would be in the Prada Mens' Fashion Show in Milan, I was pretty interested to see what would come about it. I couldn't watch it on live stream because I was out celebrating my Grandpa's 89th birthday and then praying to God my niece didn't kill me on a four-wheeler, but when I got home, I ran to the boards to do some catching up.

 Boy, was I glad I did.

There was a nice thrown of actors into the mix of models, and then....then there was Garrett.

Priceless look, I tell you. Priceless.

If you watch the next two clips, you will see he obviously had the most fun strutting his stuff. After watching all the different videos and pictures, it has made me wonder what was going through his head as he took off. Maybe it was something like......

Hhmm I wonder if I will get kicked out if I start randomly pointing at people?
No?
Okay, what about this?
Nope.
Then let's try a little bit of ass grabbing.
That won't even do it?
Screw it. Air piano time!!!!

He's at the beginning a bit, but right around 0:47 is where he starts really busting out that air piano.

This will keep me amused for the rest of the week. You're welcome.

Now please excuse me while I go finish all the tests that are due by midnight tonight for my internship. 2 down, only 17 more to go!!

Things I Loved in June

June wasn't exactly a favorite month of mine. It was a bit overwhelming, I was sick through most of it, Seether broke my heart, and I've been extremely stressed due to some issues at work and life itself. But no one likes to read all of those things which is why I haven't been posting lately or commenting on many other blogs. So let's just jump into the positive things, shall we?

 If you would have told us when we were kids that we would grow up to be best friends, we would have laughed then probably punched one another to prove you wrong. I'm still working on this series of posts but you can check out this one and this one and even this one to see what went down so far.

Getting back into church ♥ 

This place is a way different atmosphere in the churches I used to attend as a kid, but I really like it there. The pastor is very down-to-earth and he's real. He doesn't hold back. He doesn't sugar coat the mistakes he's made. He's just him. The people there are all super sweet, and I love the music!

I know that might seem silly, but I do enjoy blogging. It's another form of writing so even though I haven't been 100% focused on my novel(s), I'm still writing. And that's what matters, right?

Spending less time doing things that don't matter. 

Knowing I only have 2 more semesters to go before I graduate!

New Novel Idea. 
If you know my writing style at all, you may think this is a horrible idea. But with starting this new story, I have come to the conclusion that some stories aren't meant to be told. Not every character is going to have their ending, and it's time I stop beating those that cannot be finished into the ground.

Discovering new recipes

I call this: 

What happens you try to make black-bean brownies and realize you lost the top for your blender, and the can of black beans is already opened so you've got to make something!

1 can of black beans

A good amount of organic brown rice

A can of Rotelle 

Throw together in a pan

Cook until it's good to go

Spread out some chips

Dump all the good stuff on top

Sprinkle with cheese

and Wah-la, you got yummy in you tummy!
